Illinois waterfowling: An alert

For Illinois waterfowlers who hunt the area near the north-central zone line in the northeast here is a heads up.


The Natural Resources Advisory Board last month recommended two changes to the recommendations that professional staff from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources put forth after public input.


Charlie Potter's blue-blood hands are all over the recommendation from the NRAB to stick with the hilariously gerrymandered line put in during the last five-year plan.

This will be the big test of IDNR director Wayne Rosenthal. Will he side with his professional staff or bend to political pressure?
