Memorial arrangements have been made for Max Boheme, who died while fishing the salmon tournament of the Great Lakes Kayak Fishing Series out of Manitowoc, Wis. on Saturday.
Now, a way to set up donations has been established.
There is good reason for the donations, as Ted Wozny of Lucid Fishing noted with these details for both the memorial and the donations.
Here is what Wozby passed along:
Max's family will be holding a memorial service for him on Sunday - September 20th, 2015
from 1pm to 4pm....if you kayak fish please be there!
Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home
516 S. Washington St.
Naperville Il.60540
The first part of the service will be the time to talk to friends and family. After that, the family
will likely be inviting anybody to speak about their experiences with Max and what he has
meant to you.
I am begging everyone that can to be there!!!
Max was such an awesome kid that was full of life and a stellar fisherman. He touched a
ton of people and our world isn't as bright without him.
Max and his girlfriend Kat are expecting to deliver their first child-a baby boy named “Bear”
in the next couple of weeks. As fellow anglers, parents, and friends we all know how hard
and expensive kids can be. We are pleading with everyone to please come together with
us and help to make sure we give Baby Bear anything he might need in his first stage of life!
Max will live on through Bear and we personally can’t wait to meet this little guy and watch
him grow up. We know Max would have given his son the world, so we want to make sure
that still happens!
We are working with Max’s family to ensure that all donations will be going directly to the
family. Any physical gifts that you wish to send please email us at info@lucidfishing.com
for more details. In the memo section please write "MAX".
