Lake Michigan: Illinois informational meeting

Just reminder that there is an infornamtional meeting Thursday night on the Lake Michigan fisheries, as usual, it will be at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources offices  in Des Plaines, Ill.

 

I don't think there will be any earth-shattering news, but it is always interesting to hear updates on the fisheries, especially perch and Chinook this year.

 

That is Andrew Choi on July 1, the new day when perch season reopened in Illinois last year.

 

We bumped into him when we stopped  at the relatively new 31st Street Harbor to try our luck.

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational public meeting on the Lake Michigan fishery at 7 p.m., Feb. 26 in Des Plaines. The full notice and a map can be found at the links below:
