Mudpuppies: In Illinois

I had an interesting morning with a bunch of folks from the Shedd Aquarium checking traps for mudpuppies at Wolf Lake.

It was primarily with Alicia Beattie, who is doing a major study on mudpuppies in the Chicago area.

I will have much more later this week.

But the video is of Beattie releasing the one they trapped today on Wolf Lake.
